What attracted you to Red Tent Australia?
The non judgement & support of the Red Tent community.
As women, I feel we are judged no matter what we do. For example, the working Mum oppossed to the non-working Mum. Some women also seem to compete with each other, who has the better job, the bigger house, the better behaved children.
At Red Tent, none of that matters. It’s a collective community created by communication & connection. Purely for women. Love it!
What is your experience so far?
I love holding space in Red Tent, to see & share women having special time to themselves is divine & I’ve witnessed some beautiful moments.
At one of our circles, a member mentioned how she was exhausted being a single Mother with a special needs child. Another member was having the exact same experience. They have now connected & give support to each other.
Another magical moment was a lady at our annual retreat, thanking us because she did not have to cook or clean for a few days. She had a daughter & her husband, both seriously ill in separate hospitals & had been stretching herself thin, nursing them both. It was beautiful to give to her time & space, support, compassion & love when she had been giving so much of herself.
What do you hope to bring to your community?
As women, we give so much of ourselves to others before we give to ourselves. We give to our partners, children, family & housework. Lol.
I hold space with the intention of women to have time out for themselves, to share whatever they need too.
Sometimes there are tears, most of all there is laughter. We are always learning something new.
I aim to provide women, no matter who they are, or what they do, a place of support & connection. Where there is no judgement & support & they are embraced in feminine energy & love.

What attracted you to Red Tent Australia?
I was attracted to Red Tent Australia because it was a place where i could go to be me, no judgement or competition, just ladies coming together. Meeting people and feeling like you belong, a safe environment. Love learning new things at the circles.
What is your experience so far?
Currently, I help Cat at Upper Mt Gravatt Circle. It has been great meeting people, coming together on neutral ground to relax and share. I love the warmth and respect we all display towards each other, there is no judgement or competition which makes me feel safe, nurtured and accepted. To see ladies burdens lift through the process of sharing and ‘being there’ is amazing to witness.
What do you hope to bring to your community?
A wiliness to contribute and participate and learn. Creating a space where there is no judgement and everyone is equal so women can feel supported, appreciated and loved is very important. A tent where women can feel safe and have time out from their busy lives, a special space where we can just be, to connect with ourselves and with others.
